Topic examples
· Water: pollution, Salzach/Danube…, (e.g. ground water has to be extensively overused in Vienna in order to keep pipelines clean...)
· Energy: Electricity, Gas…
· Mobility: Usage and relation of bikes/public transport/cars/airplanes,
· Environment: planted trees/cleared woodland, city life for animals
· Radiation: mobile, Wifi, nuclear
· Pollution: Noise, garbage, air
· Finance: cash flow, banking, other evil
Possible Formats
The artistic outcome should tackle the chosen issue in a way that the environmental impact is made visible to the community. Moreover, an inter-active element is crucial: any behavior change of the targeted public should effect the outcome visibly.
The format of the work is free. Naturally the concepts are most likely to be installations (any media, visual-codes, light projection, sound, performative) in the public space, in selected communities ...
