I'd like to study the possibilities of evolutionising rural railway transportation into a more modular and flexible system. The idea is to replace the long man-driven trains by semi-automatic units that only offer space for 4-12 people. These units would not require any driver. Together with a more intelligent signaling the units would basically run without any schedule whenever someone needs transportation.<div>During Schmiede 2009 I'd like to work on simulations, basic designs and maybe even business calculations.</div>
