New Album out on SCREAM Records
Andere würden vielleicht einfach eine Handvoll neuer Songs erfinden. Plastotype haben sich mit ihrem zweiten Album „Citylisation“ (SCREAM Records) selbst neu erfunden. Drei Jahre nach dem Debüt ist das Bandprojekt um Sänger Arno Wagenhofer alias Briggman zum Power Trio im besten Sinn gereift. Mit einem ausgeklügelten Sound, der trotzdem fest auf die Dreifaltigkeit des Rock’n’Roll baut: Satte Grooves, smarte Gitarrenriffs und Songs, die nicht mehr aus dem Ohr gehen wollen. One ..., two …, one, two, three … mehr braucht es nicht, um mächtig und druckvoll loszulegen.

Sodann. Angela Aux (Flo) und The Unused Word (Anna) trällern süß, melancholisch ins Mic und Firnwald räumt im Hintergrund das Zimmer auf und tanzt mit gelben Gummistiefeln auf den MPC Pads rum. Gelbe Gummistiefel deswegen, weil er gerade draußen war und ganz viele kleine Atmospheren mit einem Netz aus Spinnenseide gefangen hat.
11 Tracks die sich zwischen Pop, IDM, Ambient, Indie und Breakcore die Hand reichen und sagen: "Hej komm, lass uns Eintopf machen. Weils so kalt draußen war".

DER GREIF Schmiede Special Issue Discontent
After another great Schmiede-experience, we're back in our studio and will continue working on the next Schmiede special issue by the middle of october. The special issue will be published at the beginning of november.
We still want your photographs, texts, music, videos, documentations about your work that has been produced during schmiede ‘10 Discontent. Please make a selection forehand and hand your submissions in personally until friday evening. You’ll find us in the wood floor, just drop by if you’re curious about how last years special issue looked like. If not, you can also send us your work until october 15th via email.
We will produce a 70x100cm poster-magazine limited to 500 hand-signed copies, that tries to reflect what is happening during the 10 Schmiede days ...

Here comes Swaan! En direct from Île-de-France. In order to reach
mainland he won't need a rubber boat like other famous stage freaks do
while being handed through the club over the heads of the audience. A
warm morning croissant, a café au lait and his snuggly thongs will do
the job. The so-called island isn't a sand dune in the English Channel,
but the most densely populated region in France, the megalopolis of
Paris. So it's not coincidence that Swaan's debut single release called
"Fucking Day" is exactly the kind of demolition charge one would expect
from a cutting edge French Nu Disco tune. Additionaly this wonderful
release about an awful day was completed by the most archaic and brutal
musical "renarration" one could imagine ...
