Der Greif#4 Release
Es ist soweit! Nach langer, intensiver Arbeit erscheint die vierte Ausgabe vom Greif. Am Freitag, den vierten März, feiern wir im Import/Export in München die Release-Party, dort könnt Ihr Euer druckfrisches Exemplar erwerben sowie weitere Special-features, mit uns einen trinken und zur Mucke von den DJs Heiner Hendrix, Dusty (Jazz & Milk) und Bartellow (Columbus) abgehen! Die beiden letzteren veranstalten an diesem Abend die vierte Ausgabe ihrer Veranstaltungsreihe »Carpet Session«. Live wird der Abend von der &ra»Bad Jazz Troupe« untermalt. Wir freuen uns auf einen fantastischen Abend mit Euch und Euren Liebsten und Bekannten!

Reminder: Smith10Production: till Okt.15th
We, DER GREIF, will produce a "Schmiede10: DISCONTENT special". (70x100cm poster-magazin / limited to 500 hand-signed copies).
Like at Schmiede09: AUFBRUCH: after having spent ten great days at Schmiede, we are now looking forward to receiving your work. We want your photographs, texts, music, videos, documentations about your work that has been produced during Schmiede10: DISCONTENT.
Our objective is to reflect on what happened during the 10 Schmiede days without documenting it in a usual manner. We will try to include as much work as possible, but please be aware that this is a SmithProject with limited space and resources, therefore the DER GREIF team will need to select.

DER GREIF Schmiede Special Issue Discontent
After another great Schmiede-experience, we're back in our studio and will continue working on the next Schmiede special issue by the middle of october. The special issue will be published at the beginning of november.
We still want your photographs, texts, music, videos, documentations about your work that has been produced during schmiede ‘10 Discontent. Please make a selection forehand and hand your submissions in personally until friday evening. You’ll find us in the wood floor, just drop by if you’re curious about how last years special issue looked like. If not, you can also send us your work until october 15th via email.
We will produce a 70x100cm poster-magazine limited to 500 hand-signed copies, that tries to reflect what is happening during the 10 Schmiede days ...

Der Greif @ Schmiede10
Der Greif ist ein Magazin, das vor drei Jahren in der Gegend rund um den Ammersee entwickelt wurde. Es zeigt Fotografien und dazu passende Texte, will Gefühle erzeugen. Mittlerweile ist der Greif sehr international und veröffentlicht Werke aus der ganzen Welt. Auf der Schmiede ist das Team rund um das poetische Magazin heuer zum zweiten Mal, um mit dem Input der Smiths eine eigene Schmiede-Ausgabe zu gestalten. Simon Karstetter und Matthias Lohnscheidt erzählen im folgenden Interview über Ihr Vorhaben.
Erzähl mir mal aus der Biografie des Greifs!
Simon: Der Greif ist ein Fotomagazin, kombiniert mit Text. Wir haben keinen wirklich redaktionellen Teil, der Greif ist eigentlich ein poetisches Magazin. Die Idee kam daher, dass es im Internet so viel Bildmaterial gibt, mit dem eigentlich niemand mehr ...
