    body: Glueck? kann nicht vermittelt sondern nur erfahren werden. Die Schmiede Hallein beauftragt KünstlerInnen des Schmiede-Netzwerk (SmithNetwork) mit Projekten zum Thema „Glueck?“. Sie laden das Publikum vor Ort ein, um gemeinsam das Glück zu finden. Das Projekt besteht aus zwei Elementen 1) der mobile Glueck?parcours und 2) das Pernerinsel Blütenfesten.Glueck?parcours:Roter Teppich – Schwarzes Loch – Evaluation (22. - 30.Mai)Auf dem mobilen Glueck?parcours wird das Publikum in den unterschiedlichsten Gemeinden und Plätzen zum Akteur, kann über den Glueck?parcours schreiten und Glück in mehrfachen Facetten erfahren. Das Publikum wird fotografiert, isoliert und befragt. Das gesammelte Material bildet die Grundlage für das Perner Bluetenfesten.BluetenfestenDer festliche Abschluss der Aktion, auf der Pernerinsel, mit dem wir noch einmal mit allen Interessierten in Dialog zum Thema „Glueck?“ treten können. Im festlichen Rahmen des Perner Blütenfesten werden die gesammelten Wünsche in Form einer Skulptur präsentiert und abgeholt. Durch das einlösen der Wünsche verschwindet die Skultptur nur um neu zu erstehen. Symbolisch werden die Wünsche durch eine Blume ersetzt, welche in Richtung Schwarzes Meer zu Wasser gelassen werden. Die Blumen bilden eine gemeinschaftliche Erinnerung und Skulptur des Glueck?.mit freundlicher Unterstützung von Gärtnerei Trap und Herrn und Firma Antosch.

    body:  In the last decade, many traditional obstacles to exploring the world as an individual, like borders and monopolies of institutions and information, vanished. To probe this freedom, many mobile projects like traveling mini-states, on-the-road-cinemas, busses converted to ateliers and galleries and trans-national music projects started to appear. In this context, On The Road Productions <a href="http://www.lufka.org">(ORP)</a> exercises an artistic activism, that finds and creates spaces, in which artists can work outside of the walls of existing institutions. ORP fosters projects that aim at finding and expressing independent and original views. Centerpiece is a Steyr-Ikarus bus that has been converted into an atelier-, office- and gallery-space.<br /><br />  The Nomadic Village is going to be an enlarged space of that character, an artist residence with a slight festival character, in which various mobile projects are going to create a microcosm together.     body: To get married nowadays is one of the last thing to show that there is a serius meaning behind. Also young art is something that is serius. Thats why we decided to get married in the name of art. Ellinor the dancer and performer and Arunakaij an austrian artist in the medium photography, video and installation marrie there proffessions in the picturesque background of Salzburg city. The main message for this happening, that is more than a normal wedding, are “What the art unites, the system should not break”. With our wedding vows we declare that from this day on, we will support and respect the other one´s art as the own, the beginning of the collaborating future of “Arunakaij & Ellipnelli” as the best men we took people from other artistic background, so we have Oliver Golg, an austrian sculptor and the owner of galerie Noblnobl, and Rüdiger Wassibauer who is the initiator of the “Schmiede” media festival located in Hallein, Austria. We tryed to focus on involving young regional artist into this project to show, that there are a lot of young , potent artists that can realize great projects and that all these artists need a platform or a space to work and show their projects. For the priest we got an young german actor called Till Frühwald. We used the space of Salzburgcity, the rosenhügel, because this location is in the withe of Salzburg city and a meetingpoint for tourists. We wanted to break the privileg of a closed weddingcommunity and offered this performance with a serius background for all people that want to celebrate this important day with us. Free and public. “What the heart needs, the art brings together”

It allows all participants to work in silence and not to be bothered by producibility. The constant passing on of written material and the permanent reformulating, contextualizing, expanding, and reflecting of them serve as a basis for the creation and composition of movements, texts, sounds, or images. But within this procedure all realizations are based on temporary decisions depending from the material that is handed over from the other and not because the medium of realization is chosen beforehand. Our working procedure could best fit into the motto: Give me your material and I show you what you‘re not doing with it. Sourcing the creation-act out and to render oneself into the pendency of writing instead permits a disciplined work in silence, in which each participant and partner can raise her/his voice on the paper independently from its volume or the amount and position of knowledge. Participation starts with a conspiracy of partaking, and not by the self-positioning of the speaker. With (Re)formulating we describe a process that can enable a discourse in silence, in the writing with each other. The place of the individual argument, the singular voice is taken by an instance of polyphony, similar to the Cadavre Exquis, which is a game that was invented by Surrealists in 1925. It is quite similar to an old english parlor game called Consequences in which players write in turn on a sheet of paper, fold it to conceal part of the writing, and then pass it to the next player for a further contribution. Unlike the surrealists, we don‘t hide what has been written previously. For us it is a downright challenge to deal with the input of the others and to come into thinking with it, to expand ideas and suggestions, to combine sketches, to suggest a possible proceeding. It is only very late in the working procedure that we ask about the medium in which this material is to be realized. In this sense, the medium becomes a part in the decision making, in the claim of form (or format). It is not set a priori and thus has to be in reference, translation, transference to the material: it has to be a decision and not a choice. Because of this it is fundamental in this principle of formal strictness to take the responsibility of one‘s decisions and to constantly confront the other with claims in order to develop a communication, a circulation and production in the community of strangers. (Re)formulating should enable everybody to partake in the process. Just as in knitting from a single thread (the shared theme) and a knitting pattern (the permanent passing on), a complex texture evolves that formulates a possible work. more info: artwins.de LTI: let's talk about it LTI ist ein Schmiede-Format, das aus den Erfahrungen verschiedener Konferenzen, Diskssionen und Vorträgen entstanden ist. Wir haben beobachtet, dass für viele Themen weder Konferenzen greifbare, noch Workshops befriedigende Resultate produzieren. Darum entwickelten wir 2008 ein Hybridformat. In einem intimen Rahmen werden Impulsreferate von Spezialisten gegeben, um eine Diskussionsgrundlage zu schaffen. Diese Diskussion wird dann de Publikum übergeben. Ziel ist es, enen Dialog zu führen. Das Publikum wird in eine persönliche und interessante Diskussion einbezogen. Die Grenzen zwischen Parteien verschwimmen und Schwellen werden abgebaut. Die Themen der LTIs reichen von philosophischen Ansätzen bis hin zu praktischer Projektbesprechung.

    body: While strawling around taking photographs at the Schmiede 08, i talked to Klaus Mähring about his project. A portable sample-based music controller. Taking the sample-based approach on making music, I decided to adapt this concept to realise a music video in the same style. Therefor i started taking sequences of still images (approx. 150) from Klaus, building his "instrument". In Final Cut I put the duration of each picture to 1frame (1/25 sec), faking the process of video displaying. These sequences of images I exported to short movies and used them as my samples for the music video.The song "wueste" by drama
