Windowfarms - Window-LED-Garden

Windowfarms is based on urban agriculture research making it possible to build your own garden in the window to grow vegetables.

Plastic bottles are hung vertically, and air and watering system are installed..

On the Finnish pixelache festival illumination by leds was developed and exhibited in the national museum for modern art.

 

The idea would be to do it ourselves, and most of all together in a team:

... build own windowfarms and create further ideas for developing this project...

(...and display this kind of urban gardening connected to technology in Austria?)

edit 1Sept2010: just checked the ars electronica programme: there will be a display on the exhibition...

How nice would it be to have a illuminated garden in the Bergwerk?

So, im looking for Smiths to participate who are open to some cross-disciplinary experiment and research, someone who maybe helps with giving a Led-electricity-workshop, hobby gardeners, excited people, ... smiths!!!
