The CHESS BOXING CLUB BERLIN competes against the LONDON CHESS BOXING CLUB!

On 24 June 2011 there will be a showdown of brains and fists. In the warehouse of the Tape Club in Berlin, the two oldest chessboxing clubs of the world will face off against each other.

The Chessboxing Club Berlin, founded in 2005, is considered the origin of chessboxing. The hybrid martial art was invented here, and chessboxing was taught, refined and expanded into the world from here. The London ChessBoxing Club was founded in 2008 and has quickly become the second largest club in the world.

Fighters have come again and again from London to Berlin to claim a title for England, sometimes just for fame and honour. The Berliners have demonstrated first-class fights in London, where regular chessboxing fights have been held for several years now in the Boston Dome.

Now it’s time to establish which city has the hardest thinkers and the cleverest fighters!

Am 24. Juni 2011 kommt es zu einem Showdown mit Hirn und Fäusten.In der Lagerhalle des „Tape Club“ Berlin, treten die beiden ältesten Schachbox-Vereine der Welt gegeneinander an.

Der „Chess Boxing Club Berlin“, bereits 2005 gegründet, gilt als die Wiege des Schachboxens. Hier wurde die hybride Kampfsportart erfunden, hier wird Schachboxen seitdem gelehrt, verfeinert und in die Welt verbreitet. Der „London Chessboxing Club“ besteht seit 2008, seitdem hat er sich rasch zum zweitgrößten Verein der Welt entwickelt.

Immer wieder sind Kämpfer aus London nach Berlin gereist, um einen Titel für England zu holen. Manchmal auch nur für Ruhm und Ehre. Die Berliner haben erstklassige Kämpfe in London gezeigt, wo es seit einigen Jahren regelmäßig Schachbox-Wettbewerbe im „Boston Dome“ zu sehen gibt.

Nun ist es an der Zeit, festzustellen, welche Stadt die härteren Denker und die schlaueren Schläger hervorbringt!
