come together at this sunday on 4 p.m. to play, sing and hear whatever you want. for this idea, which was realized by john cage 1967 for the first time, there is only one guideline: the time and the place. 4 to 4:45 p.m., old city of salzburg,  the "mucicircus disrict" goes from residenzplatz to universitätsplatz.

all musicians and music enthusiasts, noise artists, professionals and amateurs, ensembles and soloists, laptop djs and shouting flashmobs are invited to gather at this unique happening taking the opening party of the salzburg festival for 45 minutes in their musically hand. 

according to john cage all that you need is devotedness to flood salzburg with acoustic anarchy. somebody who takes part will not feel the pressure of a single ego - and this experience is euphoric. more...

Ciference-Symphony | Harfe Hang • Kajetanerplatz  21.15–22.00

Das Duo mit Martina Stock (Harfe) und Christian Schratt (Hang) spielt seit 2010 mit ihren Instrumenten hauptsächlich in Gebäuden, deren Klangbild ein einzigartiges Hörerlebnis mit sich bringen. In unterschiedlichsten Settings haben sie ihre minimalistischen Eigenkompositionen schon in eine
neuartige Klangwelt überführt. „Symphonie der guten Schwingungen“ ist die treffendste Übersetzung
ihres Projektnamens CIFERENCE-SYMPHONY und der damit verbundenen experimentellen Form, der an die Klassik angelehnten Musik.
