The romantical vision of “true love” is simultaneously the prototypical ideal of today's society and is reproducing the to be aimed at “heterosexual-pair-model”, that is supported and projected through culture, media and by history.

The artistic research will collect personal investigations plus insights from people participating at Schmiede, attached with auto-biographical elements to find out, how contemporary notions of romance look like and how they are expressed: how romantic ideas influence (our) life and live designs in general.

I wonder if there are comparable ideas, thoughts and feelings or desires that are shared. If these ideas are affecting our own perceptions, personal preferences, and if and how they are resulting in private lifes. Furthermore I want to discover if there are duplications of historical, familial and gender (pre-)images.

In a next step these personal reports, descriptions and associations about feelings, desires, thoughts and experiences, will be composed, rearranged, interconnected and transferred into a new context for a scenic representation/installation with audio-/multimedia.
